How to choose Suspension and Lateral files
Do you know the difference?
When you work in a busy and productive office it is important to keep your files in order. Piles of paperwork on top of desks gives the wrong impression and is likely to make simple tasks all the more challenging and time consuming.
That’s why we have put together the following helpful suspension file buying guide to give you all of the information you need to make the right decision for your business needs. Firstly, you need to decide whether you require a suspension file which are available in A4 or Foolscap. You may need a suspension file with a V shaped bottom which will hold up to 150 sheets of paper or something more substantial which will hold between 300 and 500 sheets of paper.
Alternatively, you may want a lateral file which take up limited interior space and are perfect for smaller offices. These come in manilla or polypropylene and are both suitable for everyday filing. Make sure to take note of the weight that each file will hold as this will determine what you choose and will ensure that the product you purchase meets with your needs.
